Florence Griffith-Joyner

One of the fastest women in the world was Florence Griffith-Joyner, shortened as Flo-Jo. She has the world record for the 100 m and 200m, earned the golden medal in the former event and the silver in the latter. In 1989 she was requested to design the basketball uniforms for the Indian Pacers.

She quit from competitive sports because of tendinitis in her right leg, because of using drugs, and died of epilepsy in the age of 38.
